Parents and citizens' association

Milton Public School has an active Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) that contributes significantly to the life of the school and the many opportunities that are offered to students. The P&C consists of parents, carers and community members, who meet to discuss and plan, along with the Principal, how the P&C can help the school provide the best opportunities for our children, now and in to the future. The P&C is

committed to supporting the efforts of teachers and the aspirations of students, to ensure MPS is the best it can be.

MEETINGS

Milton Public School P&C meets at 7:00 pm on the second Tuesday of each month during term time in the school staffroom. The Annual General Meeting is held at the November meeting each year

The Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) meetings provide a friendly opportunity for parents to meet the Principal, teachers and other parents to discuss issues of mutual interest and concern. The more parents attend, the better for all, bringing fresh ideas, energy and a range of perspective, all important in ensuring we are indeed representing our whole community. We are thus more aware of parent/community needs and parents understand what is happening at school.

Our main fundraiser for the year is our school fete, which we hold in September, where we aim to raise as much money as possible to assist in the purchase of resources and equipment for the school.
