Principals Message

On behalf of the entire Milton Public School community, I would like to welcome you to our high achieving school.

We look forward to a long and happy association with you and your child. Milton Public School's motto is "Carpe Diem - Enjoy the Present Day" and our school's mission is, Quality Teaching, Excellent facilities and Enriching Programs.

Milton is a community school that prides itself in preparing students to become life-long inquisitive and creative learners. The School's teachers are professional, caring and committed to teaching students a broad and balanced curriculum across the key learning areas.

Milton Public School provides a nurturing environment where the welfare of students and families is paramount. The School is committed to building positive self-esteem in students and enjoys a strong partnership with the community as we work together to ensure all students have available to them a world-class education and a strong sense of community pride.

Milton school proudly reflects the vibrant nature of the Milton community. Our teachers are committed to the idea of life-long learning. This results in an innovative school community where staff and students engage the most current learning programs whilst promoting traditional values.

One of the things that make Milton such a dynamic learning community is the high level of involvement and support from parents and other community members. The School actively encourages parents to support teaching and learning programs and to become involved in the many aspects of school life. Teachers and parents are given regular opportunities to discuss student progress and to develop ways to further support the educational goals of their children.

I look forward to working with you and your family and extend an invitation to contact me at any time to discuss the learning needs of your child.
