OPEN DAY IN THE LIBRARY
Open Day is held as part of our school's Education Week celebrations. Students are welcome to show their families around the library. A book fair is held on this day in conjunction with the local Harbour Bookshop. Books may be purchased for individuals or donated to the library on this day.
BOOK FAIR
A scholastic book fair is held for one week during term 4 each year. Students, parents and visitors are welcome to purchase books and other items before and after school during this week. It is a great time to buy presents. The money raised is used to purchase new resources for the library.
STOCKTAKE
The annual library stocktake happens during the last three weeks of each school year. Borrowing and regular class visits to the library stop. Students are required to return all library books.
LOST AND/OR DAMAGED BOOKS
Students are responsible for books that they borrow from the library. There are no fines for overdue books. If a book is lost or damaged please write a note explaining the circumstances to the librarian.
