Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
I’m excited to welcome you to our school, a vibrant and inclusive learning community where every student is known, supported, and inspired to achieve their best.
With a student population of approximately 830 wonderful students, we are proud to retain the warm, connected feel of a true community school. Our size allows us to offer a rich array of opportunities while still ensuring every student feels seen, heard, and valued. Our Core Values - CARE - Care, Achieve, Respect and Engage are our focal points. Our famous "The Milton Way" explicitly teaches the routines, rules and expectations for behaviour and learning at Milton Public School.
At Milton, we celebrate achievements across all domains - academic, sporting, creative, and personal development. Our students are consistently engaged in meaningful learning experiences that foster confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
We are fortunate to have a highly dedicated team of educators who bring passion, professionalism, and care to their work each day. Our staff work in close partnership with a proactive and supportive Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association, whose contributions greatly enhance the educational experience for all our students.
Milton Public School is a place where students thrive. It's a school full of energy, opportunity, and community spirit. We believe you'll love it here as much as we do.
Jason Barby, Principal (Relieving) of Milton Public School
